The Casita
The casita at Taos Yoga Retreat is lovingly cared for and appointed with comfort, aesthetics and privacy in mind. Built in traditional southwestern style, this 750 sq. ft. cottage has thick adobe walls and abundant natural light.

Spirit of Refuge
Being in nature restores and elevates us. The casita is nestled among evergreen trees and lovely gardens to enjoy for outdoor meditation and contemplation. In spring, the plum, apple, apricot and lilac trees bloom along with tulips and daffodils. The early summer brings poppies, iris and lavender along with other perennials and native wild flowers. In autumn the aspens and chamisa turn to gold and many perennials continue to bloom until early November. Ponderosa pines and other evergreens add color in the winter and when it snows the pure beauty and quiet is sublime.
